CREATING CONVERSATIONS AROUND GENDER LITERACY TO EMPOWER THE NEXT GENERATION
GENDER ROLES IMPACT EVERYONE
They inform our identity and shape ideas about those around us. As an issue that affects each person, the evidence shows we need to talk about gender to reduce gender inequality, discrimination, oppression and violence in the community.
We know gender is hard to discuss. That's why Pride in Care creates conversations around gender literacy to empower the next generation.
WHAT WE DO
Young people are the key to improving gender inequalities. We engage students and the broader community to examine, understand and engage with what gender is and what this means for everyone.
Being a youth led organisation, we understand the issues and changes young people are going through, making our work relevant and relatable.
THE BROADER COMMUNITY
Pride in Care wants a world where people are free from gender based inequality, and are not treated unfairly because of their gender. We engage the broader community in a range of ways to increase community wide gender literacy and action.
